Poetry Competition

March 21st is International World Poetry Day It was allocated by UNESCO in 1999 to celebrate the great human legacy of Poetry and to ensure that youth appreciate the role of poetry in the development and enlightenment of the world.  It is through the oral traditions associated with poetry that ancient languages have survived. Moreover, Poetry provides cultures with an imaginative dialect which transmits their history, wisdom, and philosophy   even as it captures the creative spirit of the human mind.
